At Knockers, we aim to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. This Return Policy outlines the conditions under which returns are accepted and the steps you should follow to return items purchased from our platform.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Perishable Goods: Due to the nature of perishable items such as groceries, fruits, vegetables, milk, and bakery products, returns are only accepted if the items are damaged, spoiled, or expired upon delivery. You must notify us within 4 hours of receiving your order to be eligible for a return.
- Non-Perishable Goods: Returns for non-perishable items (packaged foods, household items) are accepted if the products are returned in their original condition, unopened, and unused. The return request must be made within 3 days of delivery.
- Custom Orders: Custom or personalized items cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged.
2. How to Initiate a Return
Option A: Online Return Requests
- Log in to your Knockers account and go to the "My Orders" section.
- Select the order you wish to return.
- Click on "Initiate Return" and follow the prompts.
Option B: Contacting Customer Support
You can also initiate a return by contacting us directly. Please provide your Order ID and photos of the damaged item (if applicable).
3. Return Process
- Return Approval: Once your return request is received, we will review it. If approved, we will schedule a pickup or provide instructions.
- Return Shipping: For damaged or wrong items sent by us, return shipping is free. For change-of-mind returns on non-perishables, a nominal pickup fee may apply.
- Return Address: If a manual return is required, our support team will provide the nearest warehouse address in your city.
4. Condition of Returned Items
- Original Packaging: Items must be returned in their original packaging, including labels and seals.
- Unopened and Unused: Non-perishable items must be returned unopened. Used items are not eligible for a refund.
5. Refunds
- Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (UPI, Card, Wallet) used for the purchase. Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be refunded to your Knockers Wallet or bank account.
6. Non-Returnable Items
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance".
- Gift Cards.
- Perishable items that were not reported within the 4-hour window.
7. Exchanges
If you received a defective item, we will arrange for a direct replacement. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or variant, please initiate a return and place a new order.
8. "Hire a Friend" Service Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with the service provided by a hired partner, please report the issue within 24 hours. We will investigate the matter, and if the service was found to be deficient, a partial or full refund may be issued to your wallet.
